“Industry is the foundation of a country.” was a philosophy of Mr. Meitaro Takeuchi who established Karats Iron Works, currently Karats Precision, Inc., as an in-house iron work shop of his own coalmine company.
After spinning out in 1909, the first president of the corporate Mr. Toshisuke Takeo directed the company to develop manufacturing technology with his ambitious subordinate engineers who were graduated from Tokyo Higher Technical School which is Tokyo Institute of Technology today.
After 110 years of operation, Karats Precision is still very specific to machine build.
